Gorgeous 10,000 Balloon-Display Pops Up Outside West Village Office

Until hundreds of thousands people make the LGBTQ Pride Parade route glitter with color, a West Village building might have the biggest display of rainbow-colored solidarity. Squarespace has decked its 8 Clarkson Street office facade with a 500-pound balloon structure, made by Geronimo Balloons.

Geronimo, aka L.A.-based artist Jihan Zencirli and her team, used 10,000 balloons, which ranged in size from eight inches to eight feet, to make the installation. She started at 7 a.m. on Friday.

Squarespace wrote on Friday, "Starting today, please stop by 8 Clarkson Street for selfies, portraits, and a community celebration. We will be keeping the balloons up until Monday, June 26th at 6pm."
