SQSP FAQ: Manage Your Account Billing

As a site owner, it’s important to know where your money is going and how it can help elevate your online presence. With monthly and annual billing options and accessible account invoices, Squarespace helps streamline your finances and provides quality service to get your site up and running.

From viewing and managing invoices, to long term payment options, find answers to some of the most common questions users have about Squarespace billing.

How do I find and view my Squarespace account invoices?

Your site’s invoices are located within the Billing & Account panel of your site. Invoices are like receipts — they document payments for each subscription purchased through your site. Invoices appear in chronological order, starting with the most recent payment. There are individual invoices for the subscriptions attached to your site, including Email Campaigns, Scheduling, Squarespace Domains, G Suite, and the site subscription

How do I change my billing plan, and will I be charged or refunded the difference?

To change your billing plan, follow the steps outlined in our guide. If you’re upgrading your site plan, you’ll be charged for the additional cost. If you’re switching to a lower level plan, the change will result in a prorated refund.

Switching from a monthly to annual subscription will automatically start a new billing cycle. Your invoice will be based on the cost of the unused time from the month, subtracted from the cost of the annual plan.

Can I receive a discount for managing multiple websites?

As of now, there’s no discount offer available for managing multiple sites. If you’ve built or contributed to at least three active Squarespace sites, you can apply to join our Circle program

Squarespace Circle is a program that caters to a community of creative designers and developers who use Squarespace sites for themselves or their clients. As a Circle member you are eligible for a multitude of perks, including a 6-month trial period for new sites, 20% discount on site and Scheduling subscriptions, and exclusive content in the private Circle member forum.

Is there a way to pay for my website subscription multiple years in advance?

Our Development team is hard at work creating long term payment options. In the meantime, your subscriptions can be paid monthly or yearly, and you can switch plans at any time.
